Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of AuraEdits, a desktop video-editing application for Windows, and the AuraEdits website, provided by Dreamsphere Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using AuraEdits you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use AuraEdits on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and your plan. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code, models or bundled assets except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account, created through email/password or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Plans, billing & trials

• The Free plan is available at no cost; exports carry an AuraEdits watermark and some tools are limited.
• Paid plans (Pro, Pro Max) unlock additional features such as the removal of the watermark and access to Premium neural voices, subject to the monthly limits shown for each plan.
• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. Any promotional or discount codes apply only as stated at the time of purchase.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the media, scripts and videos you create with AuraEdits ("Your Content"). AuraEdits renders your projects locally on your device; we do not claim ownership of, or receive, Your Content. You are solely responsible for having the rights to any material you use and for the videos you produce and publish.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AuraEdits to:

• infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights of others;
• create unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or harmful content, including non-consensual or impersonating material;
• circumvent plan limits, watermarks, or technical protections;
• disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or the services we rely on.

6. Third-party services

AuraEdits relies on third-party providers (e.g. Google Firebase for accounts, Cloudflare for hosting and the voice proxy, and OpenAI for Premium voices). Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Availability & changes

We may update, change or discontinue features (including plans and limits) over time. Offline editing and rendering do not require our servers, but online features (sign-in, Premium voices) depend on the availability of the services above.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) AuraEdits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using AuraEdits at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. 4, 8, 9) will survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Italy will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms; the "last updated" date will change and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
